Coming to Helsinki by air or sea?
If you come to Helsinki by air, you can get to city centre from the airport by train, bus or taxi.
To get to or from the airport with train or bus, you will need an ABC ticket. Single tickets and day tickets can be purchased using the HSL mobile app or from HSL ticket machines, R-kiosks and many other sales points throughout the city. Note that tickets cannot be purchased onboard trains or buses. Single ABC ticket is 4.10€, there are also 1-13 day tickets. See ticket & route information on HSL website.
- Trains I and P operate daily every 10 min and the journey takes approximately 30 min. There's a train station at Helsinki Airport, you can walk to the train without having to go outside. If you continue by tram from the railway station to your hotel, the same ticket is valid if boarding within 90 min from the purchase of the ticket.
Bus lines 615 and 415/415N, the bus stop is just outside of the arrivals hall.
- By taxi the journey takes approximately 20 min and costs around €40-45. The taxi station is just outside the arrivals hall.
If you come to Helsinki by sea, trams are a convenient way to get to city centre from the terminals.
To get to or from the terminal with tram, you will need an AB ticket. Single tickets and day tickets can be purchased using the HSL mobile app or from HSL ticket machines, R-kiosks and many other sales points throughout the city. Note that tickets cannot be purchased onboard trams. Single AB ticket is 3.10€, there are also 1-13 day tickets. See ticket & route information on HSL website.
